For Grades 1st – 5th Maximum 60 students per session
News 10′s Chief Weather Anchor, Rusty Garret is back this Spring to educate students about severe weather in Central Texas through a program called Project Tornado. Project Tornado brings life saving information into classrooms across Central Texas. Over the past two decades, Rusty has enjoyed bringing this program to literally tens of thousands of children from kindergarten to high school.  See TEKS and CSCOPE connection on the Project Tornado Page.
Over the past few years the requests for Rusty to bring Project Tornado to classrooms has been tremendous, so much in fact it is impossible for him to travel to and speak to all the students in Central Texas.    In October of 2007, a solution materialized in the form of Videoconferencing!
