DOWNLOAD - Food Allergy Conference flyer

Times: The first session will be for grades PreK-4 from 9:00-9:40 a.m. http://www.tetnplus.net/event_details.aspx?eventID=231

and the second session will be for grades 5-8 from 10-10:40 a.m. The content differs based on the age groups so it’s probably not a good idea to schedule a class in for a time that doesn’t fit their grade level.

Recording: The good news? FAAN is allowing us to record, stream, rebroadcast, etc… Their primary goal is to get the word out to as many kids as possible. Obviously the taped versions won’t be interactive but you can tape and stream as needed by your schools. The only caveat is – schools settings only and please do all you can to capture numbers for teachers and students.

Materials: FAAN has developed TAKS aligned lesson plans to go along with the presentation. They also have some activities that can be used pre and post conference. I believe one or two of the activities will also be used during the videoconference. As soon as I get these, I will post them on our website and let you know they are up.

Registration: Registration is now open as follows:

PreK-4   http://www.tetnplus.net/event_details.aspx?eventID=231

5-8         http://www.tetnplus.net/event_details.aspx?eventID=230

If you don’t use TETN Plus for registration, please register your bridge with TETN and then use the method for registration that you are most comfortable with and please, keep me updated! The FAAN People are excited, anxious, nervous, and very concerned about getting high numbers so the more I can report to them, the happier they will be!

Interaction: Interaction will be limited to 5 sites asking questions and 5 sites answering questions during each session. If your school would like to be interactive, they need to send me an email (dedgar@esc4.net) saying so no later than May 10th. They should also pre-submit 3-5 questions that they would like to ask. Schools may also choose to both ask and answer questions if they would like.
